There will be free cider, donuts and pumpkins to paint on South and Center campuses Tuesday, Sept. 30 as part of the annual Fall Fling, as well as cardboard box cities raising awareness about homelessness.
You may “rent” a cardboard house by donating non-perishable food items to the Food for Thought food pantry for Macomb students. A few cardboard duplexes and mansions are also available for small groups. The Cardboard Box City, held rain or shine, is sponsored by Student Life and Leadership.
Cardboard box cities will be on display from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Fall Fling activities will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. behind K Building on South Campus and between E & B buildings on Center Campus. In the event of rain, the Fall Fling will be held inside the student centers.
