Carmen Wargel, chair of the Macomb Community Domestic Violence Council (MCDVC), will present “Recognizing and Responding to Domestic Violence: The Domestic Violence Peer Ambassador Project.” Since 2009, MCDVC has trained about 200 peer ambassadors in recognizing and appropriately responding to instances of domestic violence. Learn the signs of domestic violence and how you can best help and support those who are experiencing it in their lives.
