Did you know that you can transfer up to 75 credits from Macomb to the College for Creative Studies in Detroit? That means you can earn your bachelor’s degree from one of the top three design schools in the U.S.(based on alumni success), after taking most of your courses at what President Barack Obama called “one of the best and most innovative (community) colleges in the country” when he visited last September.
And he’s not the only one that feels that way.
“The MACA program has blown away all my expectations of what a community college is,” says Matt Stephens, who took first place in one of the many design contests open to Macomb’s MACA students. “I’ve learned so much and I really had a great experience here.”
Discover Macomb’s MACA program for yourself at an open house on Tuesday, March 8, 5 to 8 p.m., R Building, South Campus. There will be tutorials and hands-on labs in design, film and drawing. Faculty, current students and industry leaders will also be on hand to discuss the program and career opportunities.
Registration is requested and can be made at www.macomb.edu/maca. For more information, contact Shaun Sarcona at firstname.lastname@example.org.
